, Cancellation and Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made through the Automotive Care India website. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Return Eligibility
Products purchased from Automotive Care India are eligible for return within 10 calendar days from the date of delivery (“Return Window”), unless otherwise specified for automotive and refurbished parts.
To qualify for a return:
- The item must be unused and uninstalled
- The product must not show signs of:
- Installation
- Grease, oil, scratches, or dents
- All original packaging, tags, invoices, and documents must be included
- Any physical damage must be reported within 48 hours with unboxing video evidence
⚠️ Installed products are not eligible under the standard return policy and will fall under warranty terms only.
2. Automotive & Refurbished Parts – Special Conditions
Automotive and refurbished parts are eligible for return only if:
- The product is damaged on delivery (reported within 48 hours)
- The product has a manufacturing defect
- The wrong product was delivered
- Essential components or accessories are missing
Returns will NOT be accepted for:
- Incorrect diagnosis
- Wrong compatibility selection
- Improper installation
- Normal wear and tear
- Change of mind
👉 Customers are strongly advised to verify compatibility and OEM specifications before ordering.
2.1 Installation Condition
For refurbished compressors:
- Exchange is allowed only if:
- The product is not installed
- No oil or AC gas is filled
- Product is in original condition
- Request is made within the 10-day return window
⚠️ Once installed, the product is not eligible for return and only covered under testing warranty.
2.2 Testing Warranty for Refurbished Compressors
Refurbished AC compressors come with a 7-day testing warranty from delivery, applicable only for manufacturing defects.
Warranty applies only if:
- Installed by a qualified AC technician
- Complete AC system flushing is performed
- Correct oil and gas procedures are followed
- Product is returned in original condition
Warranty will be void if:
- Burnt or black oil is found
- Clutch coil is damaged
- Compressor is seized due to improper installation
- Product is modified, opened, or tampered
- Chemicals or petrol are used inside
Important Notes:
- Replacement will be provided with a refurbished unit only
- Labor, gas filling, and transport charges are not covered
3.Shipping & Refund Deductions
- Although we offer Free Shipping on all orders, the actual shipping cost incurred to deliver the product is non-refundable in case of returns.
- In case of a return (except where the error is from our side, such as wrong or damaged product with valid proof):
- Forward shipping charges (actual cost)
- Return shipping charges
- If the return is due to our mistake (wrong product or verified transit damage), no shipping charges will be deducted.
- 👉 This policy ensures fair usage and prevents misuse of free shipping benefits.
4. Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Raise a request within the applicable return/warranty period
- Securely pack the product to prevent damage
- Use a trackable shipping service
⚠️ Automotive Care India is not responsible for damage during reverse transit due to poor packaging.
5. Inspection & Refund
- Returned products will undergo quality inspection
- If approved, refunds are processed within 5–7 working days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
If rejected:
- Product will be shipped back at the customer’s expense
6. Order Cancellation
- Orders can only be cancelled before shipment
- Orders already shipped or in transit cannot be cancelled
7. Limitation of Liability
Automotive Care India’s liability is strictly limited to the purchase value of the product.
8. Jurisdiction
All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in New Delhi, India
